Ian Field-Hitt

Practitioner Introduction

Hi, I’m Ian, and I’d welcome the opportunity to support you on your personal transformation journey.

I believe that positive change can be achieved for anyone who has an open mind and is prepared to lean into discomfort when exploring past traumas, events, and memories.

My approach to everything in life is anchored by the principle of Incremental Change; knowing where you want to get to but taking small steps towards reaching that destination. It’s a process that makes change more achievable and easier to manage.

Feel free to get in touch with me for an initial discovery session.

Go well,

Ian

About This Practitioner

People that know me say that I’m positive, warm, engaging, authentic, and empathic.

I’m dad to three amazing boys who are all now men in their late-20’s and mid-30’s. I’m really proud of who they are and how they’re creating their own life journeys.

I was married for 30 years, went through separation and divorce, and am now engaged to a wonderful woman whom I love very much. Life’s good with her in my life.

I’ve spent 40 years in various business roles where I’ve worked with many colleagues that have inspired me and I’ve learnt from; I’ve also experienced extremely challenging times working for organisations where the culture didn’t align with my beliefs and values and I struggled to perform.

Since 2017, I’ve been self-employed, focusing on learning & development; I run coaching and leadership programmes, and create & deliver wellbeing and mindful self-compassion workshops.

I volunteer for the charity ManKind Project, supporting men in their personal transformation, helping them to be their best authentic selves.
